CellCheck™ is a service monitoring tool to analyze the performance
of cellular telephone systems. It can be used to measure the signal
strength of any channel (voice or control) from the cell site. Thus,
the coverage area of a cell site can be mapped out and verified.
Plus,
a "quick scan" can be made of all the channels, so that the
signal strengths of nearby cell sites can be compared. The control word
error rate measurement allows for the detection of interference or fade-out
in the signal. CellCheck™ has a compact receiver module that works
in conjunction with a notebook or desktop computer with MS-DOS.
